The junk starts at 17:30 and sails northwards to Koh Som, a forsaken island between Koh Samui & Koh Phangan. Get your free "Sunset" cocktail during the cruise and enjoy the music, the views of the coast and of scenic islands and beaches.

The junk boat will reach Koh Som, a now uninhabited island hosting birds and wild fauna, and known for its beautiful beach and creek where the junk will anchor for a while.

KOH SOM

Koh Som is a small island just off-shore from Koh Samui. Fishermen on Koh Samui will take you to one of the beaches of Koh Som on-board of a traditional "long-tail" boat. A nice experience and half-day trip, good snorkeling.

Two tiny, uninhabitated islands off the coast of Koh Samui:

Koh Lum Mu Noi (left) and Koh Som (right). The two islands are connected by a sand shelf and referred to as one island “Koh Som” by many locals. With no roads and no electricity Koh Som remained a nature-sanctuary despite the idea to develop the islands for tourism.
